MORE ABOUT US; My name is Reuven Sharabi and I am originally from a small town near Jerusalem called Eshta’ol. Me and my brother grew up in the old city of Jerusalem and in Los Angeles.
My brother Aviboaz and myself set up this website to help explain ourselves to the world, as we are often misunderstood.
Our family tribe lines are Mizrahi, with Yemeni roots. We are Yemeni Jews from Israel. We are currently exploring our roots, both Yemeni and the even older roots dating back to before the Second Temple period of Judaism. Our family has been in the Israel-Yemen-Morocco regions since before the Second Temple Period, or approximately 250 B.C.E.
Today our family has diversified like a well managed investment fund. We are of Israeli, Yemeni, Moroccan, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Persian, Asian, German and Ukrainian decent.
All that is left of our immediate family is the two of us. Both have lost all of our immediate family to terrorism, crime and accidents. Despite our immediate families being lost, our large more distant family thrives, though we are not particularly close.
Today we both live in the United States and are pursing our own goals.
